How to use

• Room tool: drag out a rectangle. Rooms draw their own walls. Type exact sizes in the panel on the right once you have measured.
• Odd-shaped rooms: select a room and click "Edit corners" (or "Make L-shape") in the panel. Drag corners, drag the small diamonds on an edge to add a corner, click a corner and press Delete to remove it.
• Wall tool: click to start, click to end, keep clicking for connected walls. Esc or Enter finishes.
• Door / Window: click near a wall and it snaps on. F flips the door swing, H swaps the hinge side.
• Fixtures: pick one, click to place. R rotates by 90° (hold Shift for 15°).
• Select: click to select, Shift-click to add more, drag to move them all. Doors and windows on a room's walls move with it. Drag the handles to resize rooms and walls. Arrow keys nudge by one grid step.
• ▶ Walk opens a first-person 3D view of the current floor. Click the view, then move with WASD, look with the mouse, hold Shift to run, hold Ctrl to walk through walls, Esc to release the mouse and again to exit.
• Versions: the ⧉ button by the floor tabs (or ⌘⇧D) duplicates the current floor as "v2". Compare lays every floor and version out on one canvas; click a frame to edit it, drag its title bar to move it, double-click the title to rename.
• Measurement fields: press ↑/↓ to nudge (hold Shift for 10×, Alt for fine), or drag left/right on the field's label to scrub the value like Figma. Lengths accept 3.2, 320cm, 3200mm or 10' 6".
• ⌘\ hides or shows the panel on the right. Hover over the username in the top bar, or the connector URL in the panel, to reveal them.
• ] / [ bring the selection forward or send it back a layer (with Shift: all the way to front or back).
• Delete removes the selection. ⌘D duplicates, or hold Alt while dragging to drag out a copy (works on frames in Compare mode too). Hold ⌘ while dragging to ignore snapping. ⌘Z / ⇧⌘Z undo / redo.
• Scroll to zoom, drag empty space (or hold Space) to pan. Double-click a room to rename it.
• Background image: with nothing selected, use the panel on the right to upload an estate agent's floor plan and trace over it. Set its width to the real width of the house to get the scale right.
• Claude can build or edit plans through the MCP connector URL shown in the right-hand panel: paste it into Claude as a custom connector, then ask it to recreate a floor plan from a photo, move a wall, or add furniture.
• Everything saves automatically under your username. Anyone who signs in with the same username sees the same plans, so share one username with your partner. Save file downloads a copy you can keep or send; Upload file loads one back in.
